Executive Coaching for Kingdom Builders

Executive coaching at Designed to Be is a Spirit-led leadership process for Christian business owners and leaders who desire their decisions, structure, and direction to flow from the leading of the Holy Spirit rather than pressure, culture, or personal striving.

This is not simply professional development. It is discipleship applied to leadership.

The goal is to cultivate a business environment marked by surrender to the Lord, clarity in direction, and confidence in the Spirit of God — where strategy and obedience are not separate conversations.

Who Coaching is For

Executive coaching is designed for believers carrying responsibility for direction, people, and influence within a business or organization who want their leadership to remain submitted to Christ.

This includes:

  • Christian business owners seeking Spirit-led strategy
  • Primary and secondary decision makers within the organization
  • Executive team members and operational leaders
  • Founders navigating growth, change, or transition
  • Leaders sensing misalignment between faith and business practice
  • Individuals the Holy Spirit leads to participate, either ongoing or situationally

The purpose is not only to strengthen a leader, but to align the culture of the organization with the character and wisdom of God.

What Happens in Coaching

This coaching engages the whole person — spirit, mind, leadership, and legacy. Rather than providing generic business advice, sessions create space for discernment, prayer, clarity, and implementation.

Through a Spirit-led process, coaching helps you:

  • Build what God is asking for instead of repeating ineffective patterns
  • Hear the voice of God with greater clarity and confidence
  • Develop decision-making discernment in both business and personal matters
  • Identify spiritual barriers and emotional cycles affecting leadership
  • Lead people with integrity, steadiness, and faith
  • Replace pressure-driven leadership with Spirit-anchored leadership
  • Establish rhythms of rest rather than striving
  • Align leadership actions with the whole counsel of Jesus

Each session becomes a place of encounter, alignment, and renewal — not merely planning.

Why Leaders Engage Coaching

Many leaders know how to work hard but have never been taught how to lead from communion with God. Over time this produces exhaustion, reactive decisions, cultural drift, and uncertainty in direction.

Executive coaching helps leaders:

  • Move from reaction by emotion to responding by Holy Spirit
  • Replace internal pressure with confidence in Holy Spirit
  • Bring the peace of Jesus into decision-making environments
  • Restore unity within teams and partnerships
  • Establish God-honoring infrastructure and culture
  • Lead in a way that impacts future generations, not only quarterly outcomes

The aim is lasting transformation — not temporary motivation.

Structure & Commitment

Executive coaching sessions are conducted in person and require a minimum commitment of two hours. A monthly cadence is recommended to ensure consistency and sustained growth. Emily is also available for half-day or full-day engagements, which may include one-on-one sessions.

We recommend a minimum four-month commitment to allow time for meaningful application, measurable progress, and space for the Holy Spirit to work deeply and strategically. Transformation requires both obedience and time, and this rhythm allows decisions to be implemented, refined, and strengthened.

After each session, clients receive a detailed typed summary including decisions made, pending decisions, next steps, and areas for prayer or discernment to maintain clarity and accountability.

Between sessions, weekly intercession is engaged by the DTB team. As the Holy Spirit leads, follow-up communication via text or email may occur to sustain movement, provide clarity, or address emerging direction. This coaching functions as a prayerful leadership partnership, not a standalone meeting.

Book A Session

"Our leadership team believes in the power of the Holy Spirit and we were looking for some guidance in hearing what God had to say about our business and the problems it faces. Since Emily has been meeting with our leadership team, we have come up with solutions we would never have come up with using traditional business strategies. She has done such a great job of teaching us to see the person and problem through the eyes of Jesus. We've even been able to practice this without her. The heavenly solutions that we've implemented have greatly impacted us, our employees and the bottom line."

- Matt K., Owner, Broadmoor Motors (BMG)

"Praying and talking with someone who is more mature in their walk with the Lord is something everyone should be doing. Not only has it impacted my personal life  in ways I could never imagine, it has also blessed my business in big ways. God has brought words of encouragement and areas where I need to level up. Through the gifts He has given Emily, He has come along side me and shown me what He wants this business to look like, what His plans are, what roads I need to go down, and what areas I need to grow."

- Kristie Koning, Owner, Kristie Koning Design

"I have been praying and asking to hear the voice of the Lord for a very long time. The first time I prayed with Emily strongholds were demolished and I heard clearly from the Holy Spirit immediately. Now the Holy Spirit has been unleashed in my life and everything is changing for the good! I cannot wait to see what He has in store for me next! Emily has been instrumental in teaching me how to pray, discerning the voice of the enemy vs. the voice of the Holy Spirit, and stepping confidently into the plan and purpose the Father has for my life."

Book A Session

"I have had the privilege of doing several prayer calls with Emily over the last few years. God has shown up in powerful ways! Emily’s ability to hear from the Father what he says about a situation is a gift. God has used these coaching calls to bring deliverance to me and provide strategy on how to intercede for my family. They have helped me better understand how much the Father loves me, his daughter."
